DID YOU KNOW...??? The chances of surviving out of hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest without an AED available are LESS THAN 5%....

If an AED is available survival rates can be as high at 90%

On average 1000 people suffer Sudden Cardiac Arrest EVERY DAY in the US, less that 50 survive, why....?

AED's are not readily available in most places

When Sudden Cardiac Arrest strikes, seconds count.  For every minute that passes before a shock is delivered, your chances of survival decrease 10% per minute.

The average response time for Ambulance/ EMS arrival is 10-12 minutes.

You will not likely survive without an AED being available and used in the first few minutes.
